The quickest and easiest way to give feedback – now available
An app designed to
facilitate the workflow for creative directors, designers and
photographers when working
on the go.
BERLIN, June 3, 2013 ––
feedbackr is an app developed by creative professionals as a tool that makes
their job easier. Due to the app’s focus on voice messaging feedbackr allows creative
directors, designers and photographers to give fast feedback when working en
route.
As the working world is
getting more mobile creative professionals spend a lot of their time out of the
office and on the go. Their colleagues send them work that needs immediate revision.
There is no time to sit down and open up the computer, there is no time to talk
on the phone. That is how creative director Jason Schragger had the idea and
came up with feedbackr to solve this problem.
The most natural way to
give feedback is done by using your voice. Thus the main feature of feedbackr
is tagging a PDF with voice messages. Beside the voice message there are two more
ways of annotation as support: scribbling and adding images.
The app is easy and
intuitive: You open a PDF in feedbackr and then there are four icons in the
footer bar: a microphone, a pen, a camera and a send icon. A short tap on any
of the three annotation icons will activate it, a long tap lets appear a
wastepaper icon. A short tap anywhere on the page, you leave the chosen
annotation mode. Any annotation can be dragged around and placed exactly where
you want it to be. When you tap the send icon feedbackr opens a new e-mail with
the subject matter already filled in. You just need to enter the address of the
recipient and press to send. The feedbackr features concentrate on getting the
job done, there are no fancy, time-consuming extras.
“I spend a lot of my time
outside the office and I have never been satisfied with the way I could get my
feedback to my colleagues. When in a hurry it is no good to try and write and when
talking on the phone a lot of the information gets lost. In those moments I
really wished I could dictate to someone and that’s how we invented feedbackr.
You tag a voice memo to the text. The benefit for the person on the other end
is obvious: the message can be listened
and re-listened. There are
other apps around but feedbackr is stripped to the essentials and straightforward
to use. For me it is the most natural way to give feedback wherever you are.”
feedbackr is now available
worldwide free of cost on the Apple App Store. The app is free of language and
uses icons only.
