Silver by Aston Martin line designed by Grant Macdonald

This is quite interesting to be honest, and rather coincidental. First of all, one of my favorite automotive brands in the whole wide world, Aston Martin, is celebrating its centennial anniversary. Secondly, I absolutely adore cooking and eating! So, what comes next is a magnificent package to make me double happy – a silverware collection simply dubbed Silver by Aston Martin.
This intriguing package was designed by the finest silversmiths and expert gold processors in London, Grant Macdonald. It was presented at the Maison & Objet Paris trade show and was reportedly inspired from Aston Martin’s engineering perfection, exquisite craftsmanship and classy styles, since 1913 up to the current day.
The set is divided into four distinct categories – Travel and Picnic, Gifts and Accessories, Models and Replicas, Eating and Drinking. It encompasses all sorts of impressive silverware for the most luxurious of diners, from champagne flutes, candlesticks, china and centerpiece bowls to decanters and picnic hampers, all boasting with elements that resemble the Aston Martin name.
For example, the Aston Martin Picnic Hamper, which costs a whopping $4,356, is quite an interesting piece, as it was crafted from 100% Scottish lambswool. The Quantum Dining collection includes a 12-piece set plated with sterling silver and black ruthenium. It costs even more, $14,890.
The sterling silver and 24-carat gold paper knife is priced at $1,576, the Quantum China costs $227 per plate while the ONE-77 Aston Martin model, costs quite considerably a lot! – $80,000. The car model was covered in sterling silver and then mounted upon a Rosewood plane. Nice gifts for Aston Martin fanatics.
