AFRICAN MUSO LIVING THE AMERICAN DREAM

Some call him Kokomonster and some call him D’banj. Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo one of Africa’s most interesting pop acts is making a noise with his latest song Oliver Twistwww.youtube.com/watch/dbanj, produced by Kanye West and Mo’hits Records.

His music has seen him win music awards and perform at some of the best venues across the globe featuring international acts such as Kelly Rowland, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Drake, Femi Kuti and Nicki Minaj to name a few.

Since signing to Good Music, Kanye West’s record label, he has gone on to collaborate with artists such as Snoop Dogg, who he featured on a song titled “Mr Endowed” and Estelle on a remixed version of “Oliver Twist”.

Thank goodness D’banj chose music over a career in the Military, or else we wouldn’t be dancing to songs such as “fall in love”, “Mr endowed” or “Oliver twist”.

The energetic, stylish and charismatic D’banj knows how to keep crowds moving and screaming their lungs out. His music is well loved and to be honest I am also one of those proud Africans who jam to his music.

D’banj is certainly living his American dream and Mi-fone loves him for following his heart and for being a go-getter.
